10/2: Student Blogger: This week in Mrs. Howe's class was very fun we made our very own poster's about inverse. One thing I learned was how to find the slope from my linear tables and how to find a constant from my inverse tables. I didn't realize they were different at first but now I do! The poster helps me remember how to tell the difference.
9/25: Student Blogger: Today in Mrs. Howe's class we did jeopardy to get ready for a Quiz tomorrow it was LIT and a lot of fun every class should do this in their math class to get ready for Quiz it's a lot of fun to do! Our Quiz is gonna be about slope and finding the Y- intercept. We have been practicing creating our own linear equations.
9/15: Student Blogger: This week in Mrs. Howe's class we learned what a linear function is. This means data makes a straight line when graphed. In a table you can tell it's linear by finding a pattern. In other words, it adds or subtracts the same number each time. We are also starting to learn how to write our own linear functions. We use Y = MX+B. Have a good weekend!
8/26: Welcome to Mrs. Howe's Algebra class! I am so excited to learn, explore, and grow with each and every one of you over the course of this year. Together, we will challenge ourselves, learn to question the world around us, step out of our comfort zones to try new things, build our math skills and learn to use various resources, and have tons of fun as we explore our Algebra curriculum. Let the journey begin!
